Sporck Tileart of Leland

Sporck Tileart will be carrying a variety of Benders tees this year in Fishtown. We appreciate Leif's enthusiasm in our brand and are thankful that he saved a little space in his store for us. So swing on in to Sporck Tileart next to Carlson's Fisheries in Fishtown. Leif has a bunch of his ceramic work on display there as well as his own line of Sporck Tileart tees. Thanks Sporck Tileart!

Bender Bucks

Benders Ink is working on a points program that will enable loyal customers to benefit from all the support they show us. There will be a variety of things you can do to earn Bender Bucks such as, sending us fan photos, or comin up with good design ideas, recruiting facebook fans, product purchases and more. We will have a page soon that details how many points each action is worth and how to redeem and so on. Our goal is to have people set-up an account, and that will be how you keep track of your points. We aren't real familiar with php and databases, so from the beginning it will probably be via email. We just want to allow people who really support us to see that support given right back. We value and appreciate our customers and believe this is the best way to achieve our goal. You can enroll in the Bender Bucks program by signing up for our Newsletter. Its a quarterly thing, so it's not going to clog up your inbox. Thanks again to all those who have shown support!

Sisters Stampede XC Bike Race

Benders Ink is teaming up with and sponsoring the Sisters Stampede bike race to help promote cycling in Central Oregon.The Sisters Stampede is an XC mountain bike race that is sanctioned by the Oregon bicycle racing assosiation (www.obra.org) and was spawned from the inception of a new, revised network of trails in the Sisters, Oregon area called the Peterson Ridge trail . The trails were built by the Sisters Trail Alliance (www.sisterstrails.com), who are passionate about making this beautiful area accesible to cyclists, hikers, and horseback riders.

New Products New Pages

All the style options are available on the product pages now. So right above the buy button, it says 'also available in' and the styles that are available are links. Let us know if there is a design you like that isn't available in a style you like or maybe a certain color. We want people to have it how they want it. We are also carrying Super Rad sunglasses now in our accessories tab, so check them out!

The New Year

Happy New Year to everyone! We have finally got our Accessories page up and running and are now carrying some super rad sunglasses. We are looking forward to 2010 and hope to really expand our brand this year. We are always looking for new design ideas and encourage you guys to email us if you think you've got any. We also encourage fans to email us pictures for our fan page, which we hope to be expanding in the future. Thats all for now folks.

Leelanau Local

Hey All! A few things have changed on the site since we last checked in. The biggest change that we made was creating a Leelanau Local tab for our Leelanau inspired designs. We are also now carrying womens tees, we are printing on a couple fresh new organic lines , and of course have some fresh new designs for your viewing and wearing pleasure. We appreciate all the support we've received and Happy Holidays from The Benders!

About Benders Ink

Well if you made it this far, you're either a true fan or you just have a lot of extra time on your hands. Benders Ink is a fun and unique brand that was created in 2005 by the Johnson brothers, Jeff and Pat. Our mission is to strike conversation, share laughter, and spread love through the marriage of cloth and ink. Although there is usually a good deal of sweat involved in the process, our designs are only printed on the finest, American made, sweatshop free goods. We care about the life of our products and for every life involved in helping us create them.

In 2008, we started a line of organics, called The Green Line. All the designs are printed on 100% organic cotton, with sustainability as the main focus from start to finish. Our goal is to one day be a totally sustainable business, and we strive everyday to be just a little bit greener. We are excited about the future of sustainable practice and happy to be ambassadors of a movement thats growing larger everyday.
